Myford Part No. MA68/2

Imperial version with a 10 tpi feedscrew and a micrometer dial having 0.001" graduations

Table size is 5" x 4" (125 x 100 mm)

This is the swivelling model which is arranged to pivot in both vertical and horizontal planes

Fixing is the later 2 – bolt type which provides greater rigidity

This is a fine example of a Myford vertical slide from the period when quality was at its best.

It was coated in wax which appeared to be the original protective coating . This was preventing movement so it has now been removed and oil applied. There is nothing to suggest it has been used apart from marks on the fixing washers.
